Rebecca Sharpe is an accomplished leader in the fields of data, analytics and technology and has delivered impactful results for Fortune 500s across various regions, including the United States, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin-America. Initially from a background in Integrated Marketing Communications, Rebecca discovered her passion for uncovering meaningful quantitative and qualitative insights and leading enterprise information management/digital transformation initiatives.
Rebecca’s impressive experience includes spearheading Amazon’s first media data automation program for econometrics, as the Global Head of Data, Technology and Tools. As the Global Head of Data Science and Analytics, Rebecca led business intelligence and recommender systems for apps such as Marcel.AI, which was spotlighted by Bloomberg for “transformation done right.” Additionally, she has led marketing performance optimization technologies and measurement across finance, tourism, telco, automotive and retail. Additional noteworthy achievements include leading DBS Bank’s [AdTech] data management platform, enabling personalized experiences for more than 2 million customers, and playing a vital role as a senior leader in the research and redevelopment of Verizon’s Verizon Up loyalty program.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Rebecca is committed to advocacy and empowerment. She recently took a sabbatical to focus on not-for-profit initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within STEM fields. As the newly appointed Director for Women in Tech US – Miami Chapter, she actively drives positive change in the industry.
