Alejandra is the Director of Venture Café Miami and is a creator, entrepreneur, and leader in the Miami innovation scene. Unafraid to voice her opinion and quick to come up with a dozen creative solutions to any problem, she thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Ale got her start in the hospitality industry, contributing to the Setai Hotel receiving its 5th star. Meanwhile, she founded a jewelry business, Oraesempre, and developed a platform to support artisans in her native country, Nicaragua. The e-mail, social media, influencer relations, and partnership-building skills she gained through her business and by working for a global marketing firm allowed her to serve in a dual-role as a Programming and Marketing Manager at CIC Miami and its sister nonprofit, Venture Café Miami. She was then promoted to Director of Venture Café Miami, a connective hub named by the Brookings Institute as a best practice for activating innovation districts. Ale is fluent in English and Spanish, can tell you all about how to create a killer marketing strategy for your business, and can be found on Sundays helping run the show at Casa Church, a lifestyle Latin community church here in Miami.
