Alberto Fraga is currently working as the regional property manager for his family’s commercial real estate firm, Fraga Properties, LLC. He graduated from Villanova University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, he interned with the Department of State in 2021, and he is a proud alumni of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School’s class of 2018.

During his time at Belen, Alberto became friends with two Taiwanese students who took part in his school’s exchange program with Saint Ignatius High School of Taipei, Taiwan. Through this experience began his affinity for Taiwan’s history, politics, culture and people; and motivated him travel to Taiwan alone in late December 2022 where he reunited with his two friends, and celebrated New Year’s Eve in Taipei.

Since then, Alberto has continued to support Belen’s exchange program with Taiwan. This past January, he spoke to a group of parents and students about the amazing experience the program offers, encouraging them to host a Taiwanese student and to likewise stay with a Taiwanese student of St. Ingnatius in Taiwan. Alberto continues to keep in touch with his Taiwanese friends, has started learning mandarin, and hopes to visit Taiwan, and his friends there, again soon.
