ABOUT THE SESSION

Buckle up, we’re taking a trip around the world to see how us Miamians can fuel the effort towards global problem-solving through international innovation.

The first stop on our journey? France!

When you think France, you may instantly start dreaming about French bread, wine, and cheese (us too!), but France has been making a name for itself in the realm of innovation as well.

France was ranked the 11th most innovative country in 2021 by the Global Innovation Index. It has carved out a leading position in enabling technologies (nanotechnology, telecommunications, 3D modeling), which we know would be of interest to many of you!

This event kicks off our “C-The Future” series in partnership with The World Affairs Council of Miami, where locally-based foreign Consulates will be featured in a cultural showcase with conversations focused on international relations, innovation and global synergism.

For our first session of the series, French Consul General Vincent Floreani of the Consulate General of France in Miami will meet with attendees to discuss U.S.-French international relations, innovation and what the opportunities are for working together locally!

And yes, there will be some delicious French delicacies for you to enjoy as well.
