Florida Indie Game Developer Cup Competition: Game, Art & Films Using 3-D Engines | Art Tech Miami + FL Indie Game Developers Association

December 5 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a fun evening, filled with excitement and game/interactive development, with a pitch competition of projects primarily made using 3D Engines!

This is a big one! Dozens of teams from across the great state of Florida will be presenting their projects they have been working throughout the year, and they will be competing in different categories (as long as the project makes use of a 3D engine such as Unreal Engine or Unity3D).

Filmmakers, artists, students (special judging category), and game developers will be pitching and networking at this annual competition.

In the end, YOU, the audience, will be the ones deciding which project wins for each category!

4:00 – 5:00 pm –
Student Project Presentations (Finalists)
Students from universities across Florida will be presenting their project submissions (finalists only will be presenting).
Voting by the audience.

5:00 – 6:00 pm –
Developing Your Own 3D Engine
Marmoset engineer, Alain Galvin, discusses the challenges & experiences of creating your own 3D engine

6:00 – 7:00 pm –
AAA Indie Game Development
HELM Systems president, Myron Mortakis, discusses the feasibility and challenges of high-quality independent game development.

7:00 – 8:00 pm –
Florida Indie Game Developers 2020 Outlook
Presentations by Florida based gamed developer associations plans and schedules for 2020

8:00 – 9:00 pm –
Florida Indie Dev Cup Finalist Presentations
Game developers from across Florida will be presenting their project submissions (finalists only will be presenting).
Voting by the audience.
