The future of coral reefs is in jeopardy. Around the world, these vital marine resources are declining at an alarming rate. The good news? You can help!
The bridge between science and society is strengthening, and projects like the University of Miami’s (UM) Rescue a Reef program are a local example. Through education, engagement, and citizen science, Rescue a Reef connects with the community to rebuild our reef resources.
Dalton Hesley, a Sr. Research Associate at the UM Rosenstiel School, will speak on the social and scientific strategies for coral reef conservation and the opportunities for collaboration.
